About of my Family Tree...

My name is Alberto. I was born in El Tecuán, municipality of the Penjamillo, Michoacán, Mexico. Where my family had grown and worked there. I am single.
In my family there are 6 members more I have had my mother and father also I have had two sisters and four brothers. My mother and father got married in 1965. Their names are Otilia and Alberto Ortega, how old is my family? My family is 43 years old. All members of my family were immigrated in different year because in my country the economic situation was terrible now this situation is more comfortable for families in Mexico because there are more jobs for the families.
Now I am studying English in ESL program, I need more English for my objectives in this wonderful country and the life for my family is good because whole family have worked in different areas.
My second brother his name is Ernesto, he have worked in the factory where he has put labels on cardboard boxes. He is got married with his wife Martina. She works in the Rainin company for long time also they have 3 children, one daughter and two sons. They have lived in Tracy, California.
My sister Maria Del Carmen is got married two time with first her husband, she have had one sons, now she is got married again with her husband Juan Quintero and they have had two children more Eduardo so he is other member their family. Her husband made a small company for cutting the trees and she takes care her children. They have lived in Riverbank, California now.
My other brother Guillermo is got married with his wife Maria Magdalena in this matrimony there are two children, one son and one daughter and he is working at Construction Company in different places the California, and she takes care the children, now they are living in Oakland, California.
My sister Maria Guadalupe is got married with her husband Marcos Garcia, also she works in Clothing Store and he works in other company to cut trees but they has two wonderful daughter and they live in Riverbank, California.
My brother Pablo is got married with his wife Gabriela, and then they have two children, one son and one daughter, he works Construction Company in different places the California, and he sometime works with my brother-in-law Juan Quintero in cutting the trees. His wife does not work and she takes care her children now they live in Salida, California.
Before whole family was living in El Tecuán, Michoacán, Mexico where we had cows, horses and we grew the crop if as sorghum, wheat, beans and corn. Corn is main crop for food in Mexico.

What Happen on Independence Day in the United States? …

On July 4, 1776 the United States of America became in an independent country; the leaders signed the declaration of independence from England also Independence Day is national holiday day but the States offices closed, banks, school, post offices and some stores are closed in this day too but special states workers 911, polices, emergency hospital and fire workers will be working on July 4th.
Is very important for people are remembering this day it is birthday of the U.S. but this day is free for a lot people in their jobs then that the big department stores have had big sale.
In the some streets the United States, or in some cities; there are parades as in Alameda, Piedmont, San Francisco bay area and other cities around the United States but I think so that the most important event is in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; where were leaders signed the document the independency U.S. another important thing happen in this day is the people have carried the America flag.
The people celebrate with firecracker but it is illegal in the United States, maybe cities have given the special permission or maybe the government closed their eyes on independence day because this event happen only once time every year.
Some people have visit their families and friend at home in other cities around the Unites States; where the people have barbecues and drinking alcohol in different presentations as beers, wines, tequilas, whiskies and another presentation, and meanly in beers that is more popular beverage around the world.
Other people go to the parks and beaches where they have swum and played different games with their friends and relatives…

My mane is Alberto Ortega Servin, and then Studying English is a good experience for me because I have never thought in this language. In 2000 I was coming to this county and I went to the Neighborhood Center Adult School, where I was the best experience for me to learning English and I came back my country, where I tried to learning English but in my country the people have not been interesting in this language and I forgot it.
Also in this time, I was working for 3 month in Mi Rancho Tortillas for 8 hours a day I left the company out 11:30 am and I had enough time to arrive at school. But now I have more interest to studying English because I have many problems in my life.
I have many tools to study English, the best way is go to school but there are other ways as watch English movies, listen to the radio, talk to English with speaking people and read English newspaper when I do not understand the word I will use dictionary And to practice in different pages internet read and write other kind exercises.
I have needed to work for pay my rent or other necessities as medicine, doctor and cable, utilities and other things but the most important thing is to study English and I will hope the teacher accepting me in his/her class.

If the school should look for a solution, there are many ways for resolving this problem such putting more portable fans and heater in the rooms. Another solution would be to install air conditioning.

My Most Important Thing

Since I was a child, I have interesting in painting. The first day of elementary school, a teacher asked us to circle our fingers to make a picture. After I finished it, she showed my picture to the other students and said "Mei Mei drew it very well. " Maybe this words encouraged me to love painting class and to be a painting teacher when I grew up. On the other hand, design for fashion dress is also my the other favorite subject. Using my basic art skills , I could easy studied how to sew and design. So it has become the other career of mine. I was often to be fascinated on my careers, so let me sometimes forgot to take care of health.
About twenty-five years ago, because my job I loved looking around the department stores or some fashion stores and dressed up by myself. One day,I bought a pair of leather shoes that made in Italy having a new style. I wore it to go to work. but unfortunately I fell down on the stairs in the front of the gate at my school. At that time, I just felt a little pain on my butt. After few days, I felt more pain when sat on the chair or walk. Immediately, I went to see doctor and took some X-rays. After the checks ,doctor found the problems. It was a very serious accident that hurt my spine, so why I felt so pain. After that moment , I almost went to hospital every day for therapy during seven years. And using the other ways to help me get better for my spine-dancing, yogo, acupuncture and good medications. It was fortunate to cured my spine by the different ways.

Now, the most important thing for me is " Keeping health!" When you lose it, you just know it is so precious! If we have good health , we can do anything that we want. How to get good health? I need to have good diet, don't eat heavy meal. Keeping good mood and do exercises every day. In addition, I also can take care of my mother-a eighty years old woman. Thus, I have a good reason to let my painter dream to be true.

Long Day at School…

I take my English class at school from 8:30 to 11:30. After class I have my lunch for about 15 minutes. For more of one year I had stayed in room 101 where I read a newspaper from my country from 11:45 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. I only read important news but I know the life from my country because I had live there for long time.
I have to take another class in the school from 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. with a teacher Richard Blum, this class is more difficult also the teacher had said every student needs to write 10 stories for a diploma for this class.
I am having a very busy day at school.

My Good Study Habit…

My first good study habit is to watch TV in English with English subtitles this is for me it is more important habit also when have been movies I practices my reading, and listening English.
In a lot movies there are more a new vocabulary then I see movies also I had been written new words on a pace a paper.
But my surprise is it when I had watched TV at the movies all time to speak English basic so this English is very difficult for me to listen it.
I am thinking than the most important good study habit is to go to the school every day for taking the classes and making the homework and to study the classes after it.
Why it is the most impotent good study habit? Because when the people had received classes or instruction for long period it is most possible to learn, to speak, to write, to read and understand English.
I think these are good ways for practice English very day.

When I was Visiting the Museum...

On August 6, 2008, I went to visit the Museum with the teacher Linda Newman and my classmates. She explained that the exposition, it was about of the years 50’s and 60’s. In this tour in the museum, I saw “the show Birth of the cool” I saw old furniture.
I saw paintings that were large hard, edge and had lots of color and these kinds of the paintings are abstract.
The most interesting part of this explosion was the furniture in especially the chairs because I think that architects design this kind of chair also they had thought to building comfortable chair for the people. Other comfortable furniture is cushion. It is a strange material for me but it is very comfortable for sitting down in this cushion.
I think this cushion, architects made it also they thought in the student because when I was student and sit down in the hallway or aisle seat, it is very hard but with this material it is very comfortable…this furniture is the coolest…

My name is Alberto and I am came this country in November 2002, I was came in Mexico alone because my whole family have been living in the United States for a long time.
Now I live in Oakland, with my father, mother, sister, with her two daughters and my brother-in-law.
Also I am studying English in Neighborhood Center Adult School for about 1 year ago or more.
Sometime to study English is frustrated for me but I understand if I do not use it is too easy to forget this language. But I am looking for a job where I am practicing my English every day.
In conclusion, I came to this country alone then my whole family lives here for long time; also I was living alone in my country and I decided to come to the United States.

I Am Upset

I am upset today! Three things have made me mad. First, yesterday the school gave us a test to evaluate each student's English level. It was not too hard, but to me it was hard. The second thing happened the other morning. My husband and I went to see a doctor. The doctor talked to us about my husband's right hand problem, but I didn't understand much. As we know, VITAMINS are very important for our bodies. But there are 2 kinds of vitamins we should not take together.

They are:

IRON and VITAMIN E:

IRON increases the number of red cells in the blood and will stop you from becoming anemic.

VITAMIN E can help strengthen the fetus and placenta. It will make your skin healthier.

But we must remember that IRON and Vitamin E must never be taken together
because the effectiveness of VITAMIN E is destroyed by IRON.

THE SUN-FRIEND OR FOE?

After spring, it will be summer. Most people like going sunbathing and exercising outdoors.

If we do not know how to choose the right sunscreen products, it will be easy to burn and damage your skin. The deep base layers of the epidermis will only show the damage years later. Your skin will look blotchy, weather-beaten and wrinkled. Dehydrated skin from ultra-violet (UVA, UVB and UVC) radiation causes these problems.

These skin problems could become skin cancer in the future.

Use a sunscreen with at least a SPF 15 and broad spectrum rating. You should also wear a hat to protect against the damaging effects of sunlight.

A Bad Memory, When I Was A Child

My family had tried to move to the USA when I was 3 or 4 years old in 1987.

A best friend of my father told us that he knew a ship could bring people to the United States very safely,
so my parents decided to sell the house and every valuable thing to pay for the tickets.
But unfortunately my whole family and the other 8 families were lied to by the shipman and my father’s friend.

We were in the bottom of the ship 7 days and 7 nights. We could not see the sun and did not have food, just had some bread that we bought before we took the ship.

I remember, after not so long, the ship stopped. It was night time and it was raining like cats and dogs.

My father’s friend and the shipman told us that we had come half way. They said, “Please get out of the ship, and wait for a new ship to pick you up and take you to the USA.

We rested in the forest one night.

After a long rainy night, the sun came out and the night was gone. In the early morning we saw the other ship as they had promised. We didn't know that a sad story was coming now. It was not a ship to pick us up and take us on our way. It was a police ship. We were arrested at that time in Malaysia and were sent back to Cambodia.

This is a real story about me.

United State is not only a good dream for me but it also a bad memory that I will not forget all my whole life.

The Story That Gave Me More Confidence

I have lived here since 2007. There are five members in my family. Since I have moved here, my life has changed from a business woman to a simple student.

Everyday I get up early in the morning, cook breakfast for my family and do some house work before I go to school.
The first month after I came to Oakland, I really really felt bored with my life here. It made me feel like I had lost myself. I thought the United States was not suitable for me to follow my business dream. I really wished to go back to my country.
But one day, fortunately, I found myself. It happened because of a story from my mother.

She had lived in the United States for many years. She had come to America just because she wanted help me to immigrate here. She could not speak even a word of English and did not know the way to go anywhere. I thought it must have been harder and more difficult for her than for me, but she never said a word or wanted to give up her dream of helping me immigrate here.

So I promised myself must not to give up and to forget about going back to Cambodia any more. I made a strong decision that my dream follow would me not me instead of me following my dream. It wouldn’t matter where I was, I would become a business woman again both in my country and here.

I hope you try not to give up your dreams because of having a hard time. Remember the enemy of success is loss of self-confidence. Just try your best to do it!

I believe everything you wish for is not just a dream.

Hi, teacher my name is Alberto I am studying English in the room 101 now I speak about of the weather. I love the days sunny and cool, but sometime I love the day with enough hot because it is very good for to go a beach where I like to swimming and walking on the beach. But I want to love the weather in Oakland because in this city only rarely the weather is too hot in this time I like to go to the Alameda Beach where, there are beautiful environment also many families enjoy this place. I feel very good in this weather.
When I was live in Uruapan, Michoacán, Mexico, also in this city the weather was very good but now, then weather is too bad because global warning. It feel to be strong power, because in this area of “richer families” cut of the trees every day but now these families had said every day that they have saved to Mexico from Institutional Revolutionary Party but this families is very corrupt. Theses factors that to influence about global warning now to threat of the future form children around of world. Hi, teacher and classmates:

How are you getting on with your weekend? I will be really happy after the weekend because I will be able to come back to my class and have a funny day with classmates and teacher again.

I really like studying in Room 101. It helps me improve my English writing, listening and speaking skills. The way we study in Room 101 here is different from my country. Here we speak, write, and listen in English only. It is the best way to improve our English.

I learnt English 10 years ago before I came here. English became my second language, because I had a dream of coming to the U.S, but I still wasn’t good at it in my country. We studied English but we used only Khmer to communicate in class. That is why we only know a little English, but we can not understand it well as our mother language.

Now my dream came true. I have come to the United States and also have a chance to study English. I will try my best to improve more in the future. It is very difficult if we do not understand English well here in America. We will not find a good job and it will be a problem to become a U.S. citizen.

I hope one day, when I have mastered English, I will also have a more wonderful life here. I will spend more time writing on the blog for my teacher to correct my mistakes.

And I hope, over this summer break, everyone and the teacher will have a nice and relaxing summer holiday.

We already know that when the winter come or when we eat spicy and sour foods, it really easy to make our upper layer of the lip crack out.Did you have this problem and cannt solve it,even you buy a hight price lip stick, it also does not work, so today I have a secret menthod to solve this problem.

Say good bye to the sour pine apple

Hi, teacher and everyone;

Did everyone have a good dream last night? I hope you did. Last time, we talked about my country, so now I have another amazing story from my everyday cooking experience. I will tell you how to make a fresh sour pineapple become a sweet one.

Let me tell you how to do it. First, you just cut the sour pineapple and then put a little salt on it and wait for a few minutes. Then, put some lime juice on it for 20 minutes or more. After that you will have a sweet and very tasty pineapple with this easy method. So now, we can say goodbye to sour pineapples.

I hope this tip will be useful for someone who likes to eat fresh pineapples like I do.

This may sound unbelievable, but it does work! You can try to do it yourself. You will know the result. I will write another useful story next time and I hope it will be helpful in your daily life.

Because in the poor nations every day people throw the garbage on the hillsides where they burn. Sometimes people in the world and in the Unites States every day people had said that the United States is of mainly responsible for pollution. But we save of the world and we need to look at the actions of the poor nations. The burning of the garbage is partly responsible for pollution in the world so people need to stop it to save the world.
The problem in the poor nations is garbage because the people in the poor nations need to recycle all kinds of garbage for save of the world. The poor nations don’t burn more garbage on the hillsides and this is good for development in the world. If poor countries stopping to burn garbage and this action save of the world. The poor nations recycle the garbage so electronic, plastic bottles, plastic bags and other things.
Garbage’s came all drift of the petroleum then that the poor countries save petroleum every day and this action help to save for the global warning.
All nations and mainly the poor nations recycle all kind the garbage so it is cheaper for them and they save for oil. But people in the Unites States always had said this country is responsible for all happen in the word. Now it is time that the leaders this country so they have thought of other manner or responsible manner. Because there are many factors or other leaders from others countries that if they are responsible for this kind action.
Global warning is not game how to say other leader others countries but if we had said it is game so we will have lost of the world tomorrow.
It will help people with more jobs in these countries also they will help to stop the global warning and to save of the oil that now it very expansive. If the poor nation recycle all products come of the petroleum then they save energy, money and to save of the world of Global Warning.

About Cambodia

Hi, teacher and classmates:

How are you doing on your weekend? I didn’t go any where, just stayed home cooking and writing a story to every one and especially our teacher.

The story that I want to tell you all today is about my country - Cambodia. It is located in Asia between Vietnam and Thailand. The capital city is Phmon Phen. The weather is hot and wet and half of the people in Cambodia are from China or Vietnam.

In Cambodia, people use the Khmer language to communicate and make a living. English or Chinese are second languages that people learn.

In my country, there are no tall buildings and big shopping malls because it is a developing country.

There are a lot of old temples and old houses left from the old days. One of the most famous temples in the world is Angkor - the 7th wonder of the world.

Buddhism was introduced in 12th century the King Javaraman VII during the construction of Angkor. A lot of people come from different places to visit it every year, so it has become the main place of tourism in Cambodia, too.

The second place that I used to visit and really enjoy is Sihanouk Vill Beach. The place give you a relaxing feeling and there is a very nice view of the blue sea. You can enjoy fresh tasty sea food and sunbathing under the coconut trees, but I like the rainy time because after the rain there is always a nice rainbow over the sea. I always went to picnic there after I finished my work.

There are a lot of interesting places in Cambodia but I just wanted to share these 2 places that I love the most. I hope the next trip that you take is to Cambodia. And please, enjoy your trip and good luck to every place in the world. Especially to our teacher, good luck and good health to you for your first trip in Asia.

The electronics could do the life more easy to the people but it is necessary that people will find how recycle it because in the past the people didn’t worry about it. how people recycle it so world was more safety in the past already people burnt less petroleum and now the United States have recycled everything but the poor countries will need to find the solution for this situation then the poor countries are the easiest to throw garbage in the hillside and they have threw the garage in the hillside and it is easiest for all poor countries but it is the most danger for world. So we need to worry about how the poor countries recycle it but recycle garbage is money and to save petroleum for all countries.
Another situation is it that all the countries can responsible for global warning because the poor counties have sold the petroleum to the richest countries on world but the poor countries have expended the money in salaries them staff or development then this money had came of the sale of oil of the poor countries so the poor countries have said rich countries are responsible for global warming but the poor countries never worry about how recycle all the garbage now they can worry about it.
In the past many poor countries said to lie or to untruth and they didn’t well for development around world but now it is necessary all the people around world to say truth because we need to save of the world. It is necessary that the poor countries would responsible for their behavior because all people had said the Unites States is responsible for these actions. But the electronics have come for the petroleum and all electronics could recyclable and other parts electronics have been coming of the metals and it is possible to recycle it.
In our life every day the electronic are the most important and there are many different kind of electronic around of world but different company had make different kind electronics how: television, computer, laptops, printer, fax machine, telephones, cellular phones VCR, VCD, DVD players and networking equipment and different kind appliances for the home. Now the companies have different programs for recycle electronics in the United States America. But my suggested is it that in every country around of the world and all rich and poor government, that they have been recycling everything. Before I had worked in this project and when I was lived in Mexico and I had worked in the Michoacán University in the laboratory of the chemistry.
This kind of electronic can make our life easier, to comfortable and communicate the faster around of world and the electronic are used by the people every day in different activities how people use it to talk on the cell phone, to talk on phone, to watch TV also people have use of the computer for to move satellites and a lot of machineries move to use for electronic and people have been using of the electronics and it hadn’t exclusive in medicine and sciences. Also for the Scientifics use to the electronic every day and the electronic could make the easier the sciences and other activities our life.
People need to help the world because world need to save because it is our home but all people haven’t been thought of the same way and the people will have needed to more education for save it. Also poor countries will have needed more programs for save it. This is recommendation for save the planet.

As you know, I'm already in Brazil. A day before I come back, I went to Alcatraz. I loved to know that place. I appreciated to go and see places filled with history. I felt sorry for those who were there stuck, seeing the freedom through the windows. I think that was a torture. It was worse than staying in an ugly place. That place should be a hotel or something like that. It'd rather be an entertaining place than a prison. This is my point of view, of course.

My last weekend in the bay area!

Hi everyone!

On Saturday I went to " Six Flags" amuzement park. It was pretty good. I had lots of fun. And on Sunday I watched movies all day long. I felt like saying good bye to my brother, to my friends, to the teacher, to the classmates and to the bay area. I am already missing all of you. I had a wonderful time last month and I could really recharge my batteries to work more when I will come back to Brazil.

Next Saturday, on April 5th, in the morning, I will departure to my country. But I will go feeling that I had enjoyed as much as I could. Everything was amazing. So dears, this is what I have to tell you, nothing much, but the truth. I will keep in touch with you when I will be back to Brazil. And I will also share the news and the culture with you. Dear teacher and classmates,

As I told you before, I am writing to you about my sightseeing in Lake Tahoe. I am sorry for just sending you my news today. The problem was that I got really busy yesterday and on Sunday I visited the wineries in Napa. Both places are beautiful. I had a wonderful time in each of them.

Lake Tahoe is beautiful and it is on the border of Nevada, so we went to the casino first and played a little there. After that, we went up to the hill by the ski lift, in order to see people skiing. My brother knows how to snowboard, but I do not. And I am too scared to do it, of course. I am totally a tropical woman. I just love the summer and the sun. But I had fun anyway. It was worthy to see the amazing view of Lake Tahoe, from the top of the mountain. The Lake is huge and marvelous.

My small trip to Napa was very nice too. The wineries we visited are extremely beautiful. We have the sensation that we are in France or in Europe as well. People who go there can taste wine until get drunk. I did not do that! I am a good woman. You know!

So folks, thanks a lot for sharing the good moments with me. Next weekend I am going to go to Alcatraz, to an amusement park and maybe to Napa again. I will see. I will write to you next week about my weekend. See you then. Bye, bye. Cris.

Why are there so many idiots all around the world?

I’m going to tell you an African tale that I’m trying to sum up. This is pure fiction, of course.

There were fewer idiots before, than there are now. Because when one was found, he was just sent out of the village. Now if we want to do the same, half of the village will be deported, and maybe more. But how did things get worse?

Here is the story, one day two idiots sent out of their village for their stupidity, met in a crossroad, and decided to travel together, maybe at two they will be smarter. After a while, they stopped a front of a cabin, where an old man got out and asked them where they were going. The two men told the old man their whole story.

So, the old man decided to test them, as he got two stupid daughters himself. To the first he asked to fish for him, to the second he asked to braid some ropes.

Our fisherman got to the river, when his basket was full; he got thirsty, freed the fishes and went back to the village. When he told the old man the reason why he came back without the fishes, the old man was so angry and didn’t understand why the young man didn’t drink to the river.

During that time, the second idiot had braided a lot of ropes, and was ready to return home when he realized he didn’t have a rope to bind them. So he ran back to the village to search for one. The old man got angry once again, and asked him why he didn’t just take one of the ropes he just braided to bend the others.

The old man understood he couldn’t do anything with these two guys and decided to marry them with his daughters and sent them out of his village. The idiots and their wives built cabins and lived as they can. They got children as stupid as them, the cabins got multiplied, so did the idiots all around the world.

This story is true…

When I was live in Mexico so my favorite hobby is went to Movie Theater but I was going a Movie Theater every weekend because my life is alone for different reason: First reason is my Family because they said to the people that I will become in Mexico President so it is no truth because my family have different compromise with the politicians from Mexico but this gangs are very evil people because they are coming every day at United States with promise untrue but when people believe in this kind people then people get to false dream because Mexican people live in the United States so they think best job is in government. This situation is very difficult for me.
` Mexican people are coming for jobs every day but this people came of very poorly areas in Mexico and they have a level low of education, but this situation, so that politician have to knowledge abut it also where it is very easy to trick to the people live in United States. Also the people build their dream as they will become in politician this is their dream for Mexican people. The politicians always are trick a Mexican people and my dream will not become in politician.
Also now I see to movies on TV because my life is a little changed so now I pretend to go Movie Theater because need to see new histories in the Movie Theater so I always pretend to go to Movie Theater but I don’t have enough time to go to Movie Theater also it my favorite hobby but my life is very busy now before my life was very busy but now it is busier because I am studying English and looking for a job.

This day I am very grateful to God, who has given me the benefit of another year to my baby Cesar. Besides that to me also has given me the opportunity to live another year.









I have many dreams to realize. And once more I see that God has given me an opportunity to make it reality.





My baby Cesar is turning 5 years old this Thursday and am preparing a surprise for hem. (Shh! Do not tell hem;)) I am going to buy a spider man cake and I bring to a school to share with his friends and he's gone to know how deep is my love for hem.There's nothing more beautiful to see his smile.







My husband and I are preparing a feast to celebrate his birthday, as well as to be double celebration, we are going to celebrate together the birthday of the two. He was the best gift of my life and also the best gift of my birthday. He was born March 20 of 2003 and my birthday is March 19, so, I'm trying to enjoy hem; every time, every day and every minute.








Of course you are invited! Come and celebrate with us, next Saturday March 29 at 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm will be the kid's party, after five pm we'll get the adults party,(bring some comfortable shoes)we'll to get a DJ. Please tell me if you want to go and see how many people will be there.

I'm very excited, Those who are mothers understand me very well, right? "Cesarino" is excited too, his counting the days... He wants spider man party, he deserves.

Sightseeing in San Francisco

Today, on March 16th, my brother and I toured in San Francisco. We went to places that can not be ignored by tourists who really are interested in having a good time in this pleasant city.
For sure, we took a ride on the cable car and saw the aquarium at the pier 39. Both things were amazing.

Although I came here for the first time in 2001, I did not have the opportunity to visit those places. But now, fortunately, I got it.
This vacation has been out of this world! So, I am very happy because of that and, of course, because I am getting to know all of you!

Next weekend, I am going to travel to Lake Tahoe. I am looking forward to seeing that beautiful place, too.

People voice tell to you that a mountain climber, mountain climber was very desperately for he was conquer of the Aconcagua Mountain so he is beginning his crossing it, before one year of training, but he want to the glory for him only. Then that he was climbing without partners.
He is beginning to climbing and the night is starting and it is later but the night is very darkness and he didn’t ready for camping, but he decides to climb until he goes up of the top the mountain. It grew dark to him; the night fell very heave in the height mountain, there absolutely didn’t see anything. Everything was dark, zero visibility. There wasn’t moon and stars were covering for the clouds. He was climber for one cliff and he was an only 100 meters of the peak or the top mountain.

Don't try to forget me!

Noooooooo! I' can't believe it! I had just finished writing a new post when an error occured and the post was cancelled...Ok,I'm going to try again!
Yuhuuuuuuu?!? Do you remember me? I hope so! Here it's Alice from Italy...I arrived last Monday, after a looong, but safe travel and a very exciting trip around Mexico. I'm sorry (and very careful...), we could write just once and we couldn't pubblish the pictures. I will write as soon as I have more energy (the jet lag is killing me) about our trip and I'll send you pictures. Teacher,we couldn't go to the place near Puerto Escondido that you said. We had so few time and a lot of things to see! But we spent two days and a half in Zicatela and we fell in love with this place.We surfed too with a guy from my city (how small is the world!), but the waves were huge and it was scary!

Hello, everyone!

Today I’m going to write a true story, a story of hard work and a lot of desire. This is my story.

After having my baby, Cesar, it was very easy for me to lose the 16 pounds I had gained in my pregnancy, because I was breastfeeding. When I stopped breastfeeding him after a year and a half, I started to gain weight again. I was overweight. It was very noticeable with the clothes I wore. I began to suffer from depression and ate impulsively.

My brothers always made comments about my weight. They made jokes, too. They began to call me "chubby." Sometimes people on the street looked at me very strangely and my friends reminded me how fat I was.

In January, 2007 I went to an appointment with my doctor and she gave me the results of my blood test. She commented that I had slightly high cholesterol.

In addition, my depression was making me eat more than I should. My lower back was always painful. The doctor told me that the pain in my low back was because my being overweight. She prescribed antidepressant pills and advised me to lose weight, start exercising and eat healthy or my problems would get worse!

This was one of the strongest reasons for my deciding to lose weight and to eat healthy.

Two months after that, I started on a protein diet. For the first two weeks, I only drank protein shakes and ate protein bars. Within two weeks, I noticed that inches were falling off my stomach and that my clothes I were looser.

After the first two weeks I began to eat five small meals a day. After a month on the diet I had lost 16 pounds. WOW! ! I was crying, screaming and jumping at the same time. I decided to continue fighting for my health. I felt better and looked better, too.

Now I go to the gym 5 or 6 days at week. I swim 2 times a week, and my back problems are gone.

Before my diet, I weighed 170 lbs. I lost 31 lb in almost one year. Now I weight 139 lbsand still I have to lose 7 to 10lb more because that’s the perfect weight for my height.

My friends now ask me if I’m sick. They say that I look bad and I'm too skinny.

You know? I think it is envy. Don’t you agree? =)

The most important things are: I’m feeling better, and I enjoy eating healthy food; I’m stronger than a year ago and my depression is gone. Blessed be God!!!!

We can achieve our goals, I’m proof of that.
