Juno

Hi guys! Have you already had your first movie of the year? If not, I would like to suggest you a good one for a good beginning: Juno.
Juno is a 15 years old girl that discovers to be pregnant. She is not ready for that, at all. She is not married and she almost doesn't even have a boyfriend. She is still at High School and she doesn’t know what to do with her life and with her baby.
At first she wants to abort, but then she changes her mind and she decides to give birth to the baby and to look for a couple that can adopt him.
Whit the help of her friend and her very weird (but understanding and lovely in a particular way) family she finds a couple that she likes, a couple that seems to be perfect and ready for the parenthood.
During the movie many changes will happen. Every character will face different kind of troubles and the “tests of life” will show the strengths and the weaknesses of everybody.
I know that many of you could think that this plot, about a pregnant teenager, is something banal, that we have already seen in a bunch of movies. Anyway, I think that this is not simply a story about a pregnant young girl. As the tagline explains, this is “a comedy about growing up…and the bumps along the way”, that shows how difficulties of life challenge human relationships, but also how lovely and strong relationships help us to survive to difficulties of life.
I really liked it. The plot and the characters are very delightful and smart and there are many funny and sophisticated jokes (unfortunately, I couldn’t understand many of them…). It’s a movie that makes you laugh and cry at the same time. Enjoy it!

Tomorrow I’m leaving to Hawaii, so see you on Tuesday 22nd! I’ll take The Trumpet Of The Swan with me.
Please, teacher, save for me grammar copies! Thanks!
